Floral blouse for the munchkin

 IMG_3465

I have no idea where this cotton floral came from. Amazing that no matter how much sewing I do the stash seems to just get bigger and I have even forgotten having purchased the odd thing or ahem two.

Anyway the munchkin now has a very pretty new blouse for winter. Its a Burdastyle pattern and I love the front frill detail. I didn’t hem the frill, just overlocked it with some contrasting green cotton using three threads instead of four so the stitch wasn’t as wide.

The pattern also has some other pretty details, some pleats on the cuffs and at the back.

  1. The fabric complements the pattern as a very classical blouse for young fashion followers, very attractive trims. Well done, Eliza, look forward to your next post. Lorraine.
